The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai recently released the first Annual Report outlining 2013 accomplishments by the Mount Sinai genomics group — the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences and the Icahn Institute for Genomics and Multiscale Biology.
The report highlights the group’s cutting-edge capabilities and world-class talent as well as advances in research, diagnostics and clinical care, including expanded genetic screening. According to the report, the Department of Genetics & Genomic Sciences has jumped from 29th to 15th in independent rankings of genetics departments nationwide.
