One night will make a difference for thousands when hundreds gather Friday, March 10 at South Florida’s inaugural Genetic Disease Foundation gala at the Diplomat Country Club & Spa in Hollywood, FL. NBC 6 anchor Tony Segreto will serve as the Master of Ceremonies, joined by celebrity auctioneer Daniel J. “Rusty” Staub and special musical entertainment by the Good Life Band.
Proceeds from this charity event will benefit the Genetic Disease Foundation established in 1997 by patients, parents and families with the common goal of supporting research and education to combat genetic diseases. The Foundation is spearheaded by its President, Elisa Ross.
The theme of the evening – ‘One Night. Make a Difference.’ builds on the awareness campaign created by Zimmerman Partners Advertising for the Foundation to educate the nation’s more than 31,000 obstetricians and their patients.
The Foundation also supports research designed to improve genetic testing and to discover ways to treat, cure and ultimately prevent genetic disorders.
